Pair of original 1950’s Mid-century Modern arm chairs for sale. They were designed by William H. Gispen in the late 1950’s, and were manufactured in Holland. They are original, and have been professionally reupholstered in Maharam’s “Mode” line in orange. The chairs are in the manner of Ray and Charles Eames for Herman Miller, and have a wonderful design and style. They’re well constructed, and have an aluminum frame with black tips on the legs are black finished armrests. The orange fabric is a wonderful textured tweed by Maharam, and goes beautifully with the frames of the chairs! These would make wonderful accent chairs, side chairs, desk chairs, dining chairs, arm chairs, or corner chairs. The measurements are 30 3/4″ Total Height x 19 1/2″ Floor to Seat x 21″ Deep x 22″ Wide x 27 1/2″ Arm Height.
