1960’s Midcentury Modern Walnut Paws Sofa in Knoll Textiles

Vintage 1960’s Mid Century Modern sofa for sale. It has been professionally reupholstered in Knoll Textiles’ Cato fabric in the blue colorwave that goes for $214 a yard. The fabric is a blend of wool and Rayon, and was designed by Knoll in 1961 so it’s period correct for the couch. The fabric was designed by Paul Maute for Knoll. It has classic 1960’s lines with solid walnut papa bear paw arms and tapered solid walnut legs. The fabric is deep turquoise that is beautifully woven and has wonderful texture. The sofa is solidly built with a solid wood frame and springs on both the seatrest and backrest. This sofa is really comfortable, and a wonderful size. The measurements are 83″ long x 30″ tall x 32 1/2″ deep x 18 3/4″ seat height.
