1950’s Mid Century Modern Walnut Lounge Sofa

Vintage original 1950’s Midcentury Modern couch for sale. Has a Scandinavian Danish Modern design, and was previously reupholstered. Has the classic Danish design with a slanted back backrest and tapered legs. The front legs are capped in solid brass. The frame is solid walnut. Both the seat and backrest have springs. The walnut shows visual vintage wear. The upholstery is old and worn. The top of the back, armrests, and back have solid brass accents and nailheads. Great designer lounge sofa to work with. In the manner of Grete Jalk and Hans Wegner designs. The measurements are 68″ long x 17″ seat height x 28 1/2″ tall x 29 1/2″ deep.
